18 days old passing frequent stools
My daughter is 18 days old, she is passing stools 15 times a day and passing urine twice in an hour and developed a rash in bum.
She is sleeping while feeding and waking up after feeding and starts crying when kept on bed to sleep. She is on medication Hydroxyzine hydrochloride drops and Zinc Gluconate drops twice a day since yesterday.
After giving medicine she has passed so much gas yesterday night. Is this normal or she needs more medical intervention. I am really worried for her.
Is baby having this frequency since birth or only for few days Baby had diarrhoea, just give breastfed frequently, urine output should be normal. As baby is small kindly go for physical consultation, and use coconut oil or rashfree ointment for diaper rash, no need for hydroxyzine drops. Cry might be due to rash.
