Hi mam
You didnt mention your baby birth weight
Till 6 months mothers milk is enough for babies growth after 6 month you need to start weaning food as solid semisolids and full solid homemade diets from 7-8 months you should keep in touch with your pediatrician Every month to update and change your babys diet
Problem occurs only when you r hesitant doubtful anxious about giving solid foods and mothers r in doubt that solids r not digested or their baby dislike food given this is not true and you have to have a confident and gentle patient approach to wean homemade solids
Hence again milk serving is continued till 1 year and after again blame is put on your babies
Babys enter toddler group after 1 year and they r playful not intetested much in food more adamant in each and evey attitude still more worsen with ovet pampered children
Again after 1 year things r more worsen when your baby know how to get their needs and aviod solids by vomiting keeping food for long or nauseates
All mothers r pushed to a corner tellingthat i tried all methods but my baby is not eating but its not
Many more ways r untouched or not seen because of our frustration and anxiety
Relax think patiently dont have emotional factors come in every time u say about your babies diet
Its you only you have the responsibility to change your babies diet not any one else in this world even if 100 tmes you try you should again try to change patiently
Only relaxed cool and with extreme patience mother can think wisely and identify further new ways dish that your baby likes
After 1 year you can give all type of food stuffs we eat daily so try food stuffs from our own plate and give foods while family members eat
Dont give seperate meak time for your kids
Give small quantities in intervals having multiple options in each time in food stuffs may help
Avoid daily routines monotonous seperate preparation for kids
Moreover believe your kid has small tummy few mouths of food or half glass of milk is enough to make them roam around with energy
If you r non vegetarian try that too in different ways
As pediatrician we can giude and give tips
But you have to execute and plan with extreme patience and hope to make suceesful weaning
Never never ever give up
Thanks
