I was visiting Dr Bhakti in RHC Hinjewadi from the starting of my pregnancy. My health, BP and every thing was normal throw out my pregnancy, my pregnancy was healthy. My EDD was 14th May 2020. After 37th week of pregnancy baby gets fully developed so I was waiting for my natural labor pain to start till 39th week and mean while I was connecting with Dr. Bhakti regularly. Even after 39th week my labour pain did not start so I consulted for other option since I didn't want C-section. Dr. Bhakti told me that there is a way to induce labour pain artificially using some medicines but success chances of normal delivery using this process were 50-60% because every patient respond to these medicine differently but she was hopeful that it will work in my case.

I discussed this my family and friends but I didn't get any positive response. Some of my friends told me that they also tried this but they end up having C-section after 24hr of exhausting labour pain. I was also losing hope of a normal delivery and after lot of discussion finally me and my husband decided that we will do what Dr Bhakti is suggesting and will not go by someone else experience.

I got admitted in RHC on 10 May evening and the process of inducing labour pain was started around 8PM. All the nursing staff and especially Dr Shailja was continuously monitoring me.

The frequency of labour pain was very high but I got all the support from Dr Bhakti and Dr Shailja.

After 16-17hr of labour pain, I got normal delivery. I was blessed with baby girl.

I got discharged from hospital on 15th May.

I want to say a big Thank you to Dr Bhakti and Dr Shailja for all their support in my normal delivery. Also, I want to appreciate the nursing staff of RHC for keeping me and my daughter comfortable all the time.

This review is for all the below mentioned doctors who played a vital role of saving me from the life threatening experience. I still remember the date, 16th Feb’20 and it was Sunday.

I was having unbearable pain in my abdomen since morning and as I was not even able to walk so we thought Ruby would be the better option to go since it is the nearest hospital. Unaware of the actual reason behind this pain we entered the casualty section where we first met with Doctor Aditya (Sorry I don’t know his last name) who did not spend extra time and just by seeing the pain area and my situation he recognized the issue and immediately started calling the surgeons , Gynec as I had to operate immediately. Meanwhile he suggested to take me for sonography to make the things more clear. I had the ruptured ectopic pregnancy which caused huge internal bleeding and hence I had been operated immediately.

Mean time Dr.Bhakti also had come and checked me, though it was Sunday still whole team was present within an hour from the anesthetist to surgeon. I went there around 11 and by 12 I was in OT. SO quick and fast the decision had been made. Dr.Bhakti, is very sweet spoken lady. She explained me the situation very well and make me calm. She played an important role in my case, from the sonography room till OT she was with me. She explained my husband the situation as we both were unaware of this kind of pregnancy and how dangerous the situation was.

Along with these two, the Dr.Mandar, Dr.Rajesh, Dr.Vishal, Dr. Ankita and Dr.Shailesh (Sorry I don’t remember their surnames) also done their part in a best way and on the time.

I am really thankful to all of you. . Also I want to say thank you to the nurses who were there on a single call during my hospitalization period. The best part is the doctors made sure to visit me after my operation to check how comfortable I was after the surgery. Dr. Bhakti visited every day without fail. Even in my follow up she checked me properly and guided me what all precautions I need take post the surgery. Great work Doctors and I really appreciate your timely help.
