Description

Loperamide Hcl 2 MG Tablet is a very effective anti-diarrhea medication. It is used to relieve the symptoms of diarrhea that start suddenly and lasts for a few days. It is also used to treat long-term diarrhea associated with other diseases.

  • Traveler's Diarrhea

  • Allergy

    This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to loperamide or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

  • Abdominal pain

    This medicine is not recommended for use if you have stomach pain without loose stools.

  • Acute colitis

    This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from an infected colon or infectious diarrhea/dysentery. Symptoms may include bloody stools and high fever. The infection could be caused by Clostridium, Salmonella, Shigella or Campylobacter strains of bacteria.

  • Antibiotic induced diarrhea

    This medicine is not recommended for use if you have an episode of diarrhea caused by antibiotic usage.
