My elder kid who is 3 year old have worm he is having deworm medicine zentel, I am breastfeeding my younger child who is 8 month old .i am also having symptom of worm in stomach ,shall I take zentel during breastfeeding

Yes, Zentel (Albendazole) can generally be taken safely during breastfeeding, especially in a single dose used for routine deworming. Here’s what you need to know: Safety of Albendazole in Breastfeeding • Albendazole is minimally excreted in breast milk. • The amount passed to the baby is very small and considered safe, especially since infants are often treated with albendazole themselves at the appropriate age/dose. • WHO and many national health guidelines do not contraindicate albendazole during lactation. Dose to be taken - Breastfeeding with Deworming:A single 400 mg dose is standard for adults for deworming. You do not need to stop breastfeeding during or after taking the medicine.
