Hello, I've been experiencing breathlessness and tightness in chest, mainly on the left side, for a few months. It began a few years ago, whenever I would be walking uphill and all cardiology tests were normal. I have asthma, inhalers not helping much. Recent chest X-ray clear and normal Spirometry, but symptoms worsening. What could this be?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. You have to go consult a pulmonologist and get yourself checked out him in person for further evaluation and management. Without clinical examination the tests are just useless. First we have to know what exactly we are looking for and then tests are just to look for that thing. Best regards.
