Hi there...I can understand your concern. You could be suffering from balanoposthitis. There are both infectious and non infectious causes for it. Infections like candidiasis is very common. Especially among diabetics. Non infectious cause like irritant application, trauma can also occur. Rarely even stds like herpes gonorrhoea also can manifest with such symptoms. So you will need detailed clinical examination. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation. Till then use only lukewarm water to wash your genitals. Avoid any soaps or antiseptics like dettol.
