Hi wanted to know if White fungus and Oral trush are same. I am having whiteness on tongue. Doctor has prescribed me Cortico Steriod for mild restriction as per PFT report. While examining my mouth he said I have fungal infection on tongue and prescribed me Fluconazole tablet for 5 days and clotrimazole for 1 week. I finished tablet and now using clotrimazole mouth paint on tongue. I wanted to know if it's the White fungus which doctors are refering now during covid times.
