What's the problem?

Suddenly I noticed in my left toenail, I couldn't recall exactly if I was hit by something or not.. but I wore shoes without socks a few days back, shoes were a bit tight. Looks like a bit of black and red in colour. What should I do now? Is it serious? If not serious how long would it take to recover?

Wear tight shoes can cause such hematoma below nail plate. It usually fades away on its own but it will take around 2-3 months. If pain occurs or it invreases in size, then you need to consult online
