What is the treatment of paralysis on left side of body?

My 35 year old son has developed paralysis on the left side of his body, one month back. He is home now after the basic treatment at the hospital. We wish to understand what is the treatment of this kind of paralysis? Can this be totally cured? Can this reoccur?
