All our family members got all our blood test done. We do it every year. This time my father and my mother had abnormal cholesterol levels. Especially the HDL levels are lower. My mother is 52 and my father is 58 year old. What treatment should be done to get these levels to normal?

EXERCISE !!!! Nothing else can increase HDL the way exercise does. Low HDL only means your parents lifestyle is very sedentary. It is not an anomaly per se.
Next Steps
WALK/JOG/Swim if possible
Health Tips
Do not take NIACIN tablet for this purpose, even if prescribed. It increases HDL but at a terrible cost

HDL stands for high-density lipoproteins. It is called the "good" cholesterol because it carries cholesterol from other parts of your body back to your liver. Your liver then removes the cholesterol from your body. You can incrcease the HDL by taking the following food such as olive oil, beans, legumes, whole grains, high-fiber fruit, fatty fish, flax seeds, nuts, chia seeds, etc.
