Recently my father consulted for Parkinson related problem. This problem existed from 20 years and from beginning to 20 years only one doctor was handling. But recently new doctor was consulted and he diagnosed it as drug induced EPS. Please tell me what is drug induced EPS how and when it occurs. What are the symptoms  of EPS.

Hello!                        Drug induced extra pyramidal symptoms also known as extra pyramidal side effects occur due to use of typical antipsychotic  medication and some times due to antidepressants also.           Patient may have involuntary jerky movements, muscular spasms, rigidity, tremors , restlessness , slowness of movement
