I'm a 30 year old male, I smoke heavily, 2-3 packs per day. I had a ct scan done and the ct tech called and told me the results. What does "no other pulmonary abnormalities aside from early/small airway air trapping mean?

You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest. As if you are unable to quit smoking then the pulmonologist will help you with the same.
