My son is 1.5 month old. During his vaccination he was 4.6kg i.e. on 30th April. I measured his weight today i.e. 5th May and it is the same weight. I am worried...is it normal?

If the baby is active, taking feeds well, passing urine 6-8times a day nothing to be worried.. according to the age your baby weight is adequate only.

Hello Don’t worry you have rechecked the baby’s weight in a short span of 5days of which he should gain (5 x 30gms - 150- 200gms). There might be a calibration issue of the weighing machine for such small change.
Next Steps
Please check 1) Is the baby accepting the feeds well 2) How much time the baby is sleeping after each feed 3) How many times is the baby passing urine in each

Greetings It's common for a 1.5-month-old's weight to fluctuate or plateau over a short five-day period.Factors like feeding times, bowel movements, or slight variations in home scales can affect readings. However, consistent weight gain is a key indicator of health in young infants.Monitor for signs of adequate intake, such as 6+ wet diapers and regular bowel movements.Possible causes for a plateau include feeding difficulties, underlying illness, or natural growth lulls

Small day-to-day variations in infant weight can happen depending on feeding, urine/stool passed, clothes, and weighing machine differences. If the baby is feeding well, passing urine adequately, active, and otherwise healthy, a same weight over 5 days is usually not alarming.
Health Tips
it is better to compare weight over 2–3 weeks rather than a few days.

Minor weight changes will not be noticeable on the scale. Do not worry about the number. Just watch that the baby is feeding qel, is active and passing urine 3-4 times a day.
