Weakness legs elderly

My mother 79 old diabetic fell two times in a month first one did not caused any sprain,strain or fracture but second one after 15 days caused her hand fracture.However we are noticing she stands only for few seconds and gets down and not eager to walk at all .Complains faltering in legs and sometimes dizziness.What can be the problem?Any hints are welcome before we take her for evaluation

May be spinal vertebrae injury along with fracture.. get evaluated spine also.. Check blood sugar also.. low sugar can also cause dizziness
