Watery spotting in between periods

My period was irregular since my first time. I had my pelvic exam and doctor said it's PCOS. My period has become regular since three months but, when I walk a little more or I don't know the exact reason why am I having watery bleeding in between periods it's kind of spotting. Sometimes I feel burning sensation in vagina. Does PCOS cause watery spotting???
