Vomiting during pregnancy

My wife is pregnant. We got to know when she missed her period and we got it tested through pregnancy kit. Now doctor has prescribed her to have the below medicines. Doxinate plus and cobadox C ZS. She is having these medicines but whenever she have something to eat, she vomits. Is vomiting normal during pregnancy? If yes when would it stop because of which she is not able to have food properly?
