Had vitrectomy surgery one month ago, vision is nil after one month ...doc said some fluid is accumulated in retina section, and adviced vitrectomy again, is it possible?

Information is not sufficient for an opinion. What was the primary diagnosis and reason for the surgery? What was the aim of surgery and expected outcome? Repeat vitrectomy has its indication though.
