As the lattice is lasered,,there is little chance of retina getting detached.( you see such flickering or flashes in impending retinal detachment ) so as long as there are no sudden appearance of black spots or sudden increase in the frequency of flickering you can continue with yearly or 6 monthly follow up with a retina consultant  Some times migraine also presents like that. So if you have head ache accompanying you have to consult a neurologist.

If the laser treatment was more than an year ago, go for a re check up, otherwise use vitamin supplements and reduce screen time

Flashes is usually because of vitreous pulling on the Retina causing electrical impulse in the brain. Flashes may not disappear after laser or it may take years to fade. There may not be a solution for it..try to ignore but meet a retinal consultant if it increases or repeats again n again..
