My Sali is 43 years. She is diabetic and felt problem in breething last night. She is diagnosed with viral pneumonia. One part of her lung is getting white. Is it a serious condition?

Diabetic patients are more prone to lung infections than normal people. If the blood sugar levels are not under control then she also needs to be evaluated for TB. Kindly post the reports if available
