My 1yr11months old son is suffering from viral/bacterial infection so frequently...last month it was worse with high temperature i.e 105F.. Our paediatric doctor asked for various blood and urine tests.. the urine RE and culture report was fine but his WBC count was a bit high and CRP count was 84 which was way above the normal level.. He treated him with Zanocin for 10 days and Z&D drop for 8 days... along with this Amikacin 150 for 6 days (inter Venus).. After completing the course of medicines he prescribed for another CBC/CRP test... This time the CRP level dropped down to 1.6 but in CBC the lymphocyte count was 73 which was again much higher... The doctor said nothing to worry about that but we r really tensed for our son ... Pls advice what should we do now.. Should we go for a complete health screening and consult another doctor for better explanation ? Becoz our doc didn't say about the reason or the place of the infection .. Pls advice ...
