Vaginal soreness after sex

After intercourse my vagina feels sore not immediately but after one day. It was a long duration sex lasted for 3 to 4 hours but had long  sex earlier too , this is the first time feeling soreness down there.i never used lubricant as one of the brand caused me irritation once so stopped using it totally. Any advice on how to have a safe and healthy sex?
