Itching may be due to fungal infection 'candidal vaginitis', which is charecterized by white curdy diacharge and itching. It needs to be treated with antifungal cream clotrimazole( without steroids) and oral fluconazole. If itching is not associated with discharge, it could be LICHEN SIMPLEX CHRONICUS, which typically becomes more severe when you are free of work. It needs proper conselling and creams and tablets that reduce itching. Therapy shiuld also aimed at relieving anxiety/ stress/depression associated wut it.
