Since she was given a intramuscular injection of vaccine , the pain will be there and it might hamper with the feeding . It gets tough for the parents too as they feel helpless. But don’t worry . It is a temporary thing and giving calpol drops (15mg/kg) will help ease the pain and discomfort. Give it three times a day today and two times tomo . This will help counter pain and reduce the intensity of fever .
Next Steps
Continue feeding the baby on regular basis as increases crying will make it more thirsty and hungry

You should give her paracetamol drops (Crocin or Calpol drops- 10 drops every 6 hours for 2 days) This will help to reduce the pain and fever.
