I am travelling to india and need my Hep A and Hep B vaccine, I had my Hep A and Typhoid vaccine together a week and a half ago and need my Hep B this week however they are not available in the state at this point in time. Am I able to use the twinrix Hep A and Hep B vaccine even though I will be doubling up on Hep A?

Hello. Kindly don't do this. If you are a healthy female with good immunity,  then there was no need for any vaccination. I know that Hepatitis B vaccination is necessary,  but as soon you land up in india,  you can have your first dose here,  & the schedule for Hepatitis B is 1st vaccination 1 ml at Day 0,  then 2nd dose after the one Month of first dose and the last dose after 6 months from first dose. After completing your Hepatitis B vaccination,  you should have booster dose 0.5 ml,  every 5 years. Moreover Hepatitis A,  is a children's disease. It is seldom found in individuals with weak or immunocompromised immunity. Kindly don't worry unnecessarily and stressed out. Regards.
