Use of ORS POWDER During cough & cold

Can we have ORS or Electral powder during Cough and Cold. If Yes then how much quantity is permissible per day in the hot Sunny day of Delhi in June

ORS is to be used in case of excessive dehydration. You can still have it during cough or cold. If you are spending outside most of the time or sweating heavily, you can consume a small packet a day mixed with water. Make sure the ORS has WHO recommended written on it.
