first want to know cause behind obstruction. if there is big consriction in urinary pathway, operation is necessary,constriction can not be treated by medicine . if there is any external growth like prosrate enlargement which compress urinary tract , it may obstruct flow. prostrare growth may be benign prostrate hypertrophy or malignant.depend on growth size operation suggested.
