Urinary Retention

2022-10-24 12:13:36
Male, 37 years. Suffering from urinary retention. Prevoid 852ml, Postvoid - 300ml. Flowrate average is 11ml/sec and max 21ml/sec. No prostate issue and no other issues. UTI happened 4 years ago, that's when I came to know about this. Doctor says since urine flow rate is fine, we are good. Does this have a cure?..or someday I wont be able to urinate completely? In 2018 it was 220 ml and now in 2022 it is 300ml. Will kegel exercise help? Or any other solution

Your bladder appears to be overdistended so even post void may be more.. Flow rate is less .. this is usually not normal at your age (from whatever you have shared here ) You will require further examination and investigations. Please consult urologist
