Excessive coughing can strain on your chest and cause pain or pleurisy (inflammation of your lungs covering) can cause pain or costocondritis can cause pain. All these can be managed easily. Consult your physician he will diagnosis your cause and prescribe some cough suppressants, pain killers if needed.
