I m 29 yrs, married, I have a kid who is special . I m not planning for a baby atleast for 3 more years. Yesterday intercourse was unprotected. I have 21 days left for my period. LMP: 28th June . I don't want to get pregnant. Kindly let me know what need to be done. As I m concentrating on my child's therapy I m avoiding pregnancy for the past 2 years. I m planning to avoid for 3 more years , for her well being

U can take ipill or get an copper t inserted which will help in this cycle plus an effective way of contraception for 3 to 5 years ..

If you don't want pregnancy now then emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of intercourse otherwise it will not work.wait till next cycle if got period so much so good otherwise do pregnancy test by Bhcg.
