There is an undisplaced fracture of the base of the fifth metacarpal without intra articular extension. Rest of the bones and joints of the hand are normal

Hello Practo User, It would have been nice if you could have posted the xray film itself. However ,an undisplaced fracture such as yours will require a support for a period of 4 weeks by a splint or a plaster cast.
