I would advise you to drink a lot of fluids(preferably ORS, lime juice, coconut water). Target at drinking upto 3-3.5 liters of water per day. I would advice you to have an antacids to control your gastric problem. I would advice you to follow the following lifestyle changes which would help with dealing with your problem
- Don't skip meals, you may not feel like eating but in such conditions you should have the reduced amount in frequent intervals(i.e. 3 square meals broken down to 5 or 6 as you can tolerate) and slowly increase as you get better.
- Have a liquid diet and slowly increase to solid food as per improvement of your digestion.
- Reduce/ Avoid spicy,fried, fatty, junk and oily food
- Exercise regularly
- Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters
- Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking
- Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation.
