Unbearable headache on one side of head

My wife is 26 and she has been getting headaches in the evenings on one side of the head. Mostly on the left. She has a 10- 7pm job. Seems like migraine. Crocin doesnt seem to help reduce the headache. Please suggest

Take migraine abortive drug and also start some prophylactic drug for at least 6 month.
Next Steps
also necessary to get one brain image to exclude secondary cause.
