Please advise at which month is Typhoid and Influenza Vaccine given. My baby's pediatrician said Typhoid is given after 9 months and Influenza after 1 year. However one of my colleagues said that typhoid and Influenza were given at 6 months to her child. Also can typhoid and Influenza vaccine be given together or there needs to be a gap of one month for each injection.

Hello. This is Dr Rubal Jain ( MD Pediatrics and Lactation Consultant) TCV ( Typhoid vaccine) can be given as early as 6 months and needs to be given maximum by 10 months of age. Flu vaccine must be given as a 2 dose vaccine one month apart. Flu shot can also be given as early as 6 months of age. Its better not to mix any other vaccine with the typhoid vaccine so 1 month gap between flu shot and typhoid shot is a good practice.
