Hi team, I had undergone Tympanoplasty four months back and attached is my recent eardrum picture taken. My hearing was at 40 db and now it is 26 db after procedure.Is my eardrum ok now? Will my hearing still improves or stops here? Please suggest.

Hi there. 40 dB to 26 dB is a good sign. Though there might not be further improvement in hearing, kindly take steps to avoid ear infection. It can aggravate your hearing loss. The graft has taken up well. There are instances where after 6 months to 1 year, the hearing improves even further. So fingers crossed, only time can tell.
