Hi. I have a question for my friend. Tumor markers results a month ago were CEA 5850, CA 15-3 175. She did the test again 15 days ago and the results were worse. CEA 8580, CA 15-3 240. Can you tell me more about this? If it is tumor does this mean that it' s spreading?

Tumour markers like CEA and CA 15-3 are used for diagnosis,prognosis and predictor  of response to treatment.progressive increase in its level in untreated disease is expected as disease progression. Clinical correlation with level is important to have meaningful opinion
