My daughter is 4 years10 months old. She is having a tumer under her ear which pains even when it is pressed lightly and two small tumers on her neck. Docter said that an antibiotic for 5 days should recover it otherwise the tumer should be tested. What should i do? How much is this serious?

The swelling is probably only a lymph node swelling which is usually infective in origin. Need not worry and can continue with the antibiotic treatment as prescribed. Usually the swelling and pain settles down after a course of anti inflammatory n antibiotic treatment. Regards Dr. Nilesh Madkikar
