My uncle suffered from pulmonary tb.after 4 months of ATT course he devloped fever in evening which causes decrease appetite.is fever is normal in tb patients after 4 months course.kindly suggest me.

Fever with decreased appetite is not usual for a patient on Anti TB medications. Points to be considered Was his TB confirmed microbiologically ( Was it Pulmonary or extra pulmonary) Is patient getting adequate regime Compliance to the treatment (DOTS ?) Any co morbid condition These points are to be evaluated by a Pulmonologist, so better to Consult one

It is not normal. Fever will reduce maximum by 2 months.pl do sputum test,cb natt, test.pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
