TSH reading is >150
I am a female aged 31. 1 week before when my thyroid was tested the readings were T3 - 75, T4- 3.7 and TSH >150. i was having thyroid since a long time back but the maximum TSH rate were 10/20. 1 yr back it came to normal. but this happened for d first time. i normally take thyronorm 50-75mcg(when TSH is above the normal). plz advice on medicine
Pl repeat the tsh test and check. You must take the medications consistently and not stop for periods. The tsh will come down when the hormones are within normal levels but if you stop medications thinking that the levels are normal, then it will go up again. The normalcy is only because you have taken appropriate dose of thyroid medicine.
