I was advised letrozole 2.5mg tab twice a day for 5 days for pcos condition to induce ovulation purpose But I saw in google it's used for breast cancer and all...will it actually help ovulation??

Doctors are masters in the subject . though there are many ovulation inducing drugs , letrizole has got its own merits & success rate .

It helps in ovulation..... It's cousin Tamoxifen is used in Breast cancer treatment.... Coz they act at hormone receptor level.... Chill letrozole is a v good drug for ovulation induction
