Hello I have planned to visit my hometown in Madhya Pradesh from Pune in last week of March via train. Its approx 21.5 hrs of journey. In light of current Covid 19 infections, is it recommended to travel by train without using mask? because i cant put mask for that long.

Not recommended neither authorities allow anyone However you have to protect yourself and others by making sufficient distance you can use other cloths like towel handkerchief etc in place of mask for relaxing

Hello there, your query is good example of how the current coronavirus infection is making people afraid of travelling inside the country itself. There are a lot of considerations in using the mask and following other protocols but i am interested in knowing if you've been in contact with anyone who has a history of travel to china or out of country/ contact with anyone tested positive for covid 19.
Next Steps
Kindly consult a doctor. I myself am available for a chat here on practo.
Health Tips
Wash your hands regularly. Cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing.
