Transition from bottle to breast

While I and my 6 weeks old baby ( 33 weeks and 5 days preterm) are trying very hard to transition from bottle fed formula to brestfeeding, everyone is suggesting me to keep away from bottle during this transition period to avoid nipple confusion. How else can i give formula to my baby as sometimes she completely rejects my breast and cries real hard out of hunger.
