I am getting sensitivity and some pain in a tooth that was filled few years back. I just consulted a doctor and was asked to do an RC. I just wanted to have a second opinion before I go ahead. This is the xray. https://ibb.co/iFC04v Please guide

At times, a tooth which is filled previously might develop secondary cavities. The reason for an issue are many, like... 1)fracture of the tooth filling, 2)new cavities on the same tooth, 3) improper/poorly done filling. When such a situation arises the patient may experience sensitivity or in some cases mild- severe pain.
Next Steps
You should get an x-ray of that particular tooth.
