Is tooth cleaning not safe during corona? My dentist suggested tooth cleaning but also said it would be done after corona ends. Could anyone explain why? My teeth already have plaque. What should I do??
The dentist did this for your own good and is a responsible citizen and human being. I'm very proud to know about a fellow dentist doing the right thing.. This means he/she is not treating every patient that walks in and is taking proper precautions.Yes! Not just scaling, it's safe for the dentist or doctor of any hospital and the patients to do a covid test before long procedures because there are many patients who are asymptomatic.This controls the spread of infection. Do not be alarmed by your dentist not treating you but scaling is not an emergency procedure.
The best thing to do is to do a covid test and get the scaling done with the report if it is an emergency.
