Dear Sir Scaling is a prophylactic procedure done by ultrasonic scaler to clean and remove hard tartar n stains from your mouth which cannot be removed by normal brushing. Once in an Year you need scaling as it keeps your gums healthy ! Regards Dr Shilpa khera Lilly white dental clinic!
