I have a severe tootache from Saturday and it started all of a sudden I had the same tooth problem a year back which dentist resolved by doing rc

The treatment depends upon the condition of the tooth. If the cause of discomfort this time is also irreversible pulpitis then the treatment will also be the same that is root canal treatment. But a rational solution cannot be given without having a look at the clinical condition of the tooth as well as the xrays. Try to visit a dentist as soon as possible and do not delay this treatment before the symptoms aggravate further. Regards.
