Tonsillitis and breathlessness

I have tonsillitis for 20+ years. Lately its becoming worst to manage, have frequent dryness and swelling at throat. Struggling even for breathing. Some doctors advised to get it removed and some didn't. Am unsure what to do. Also not sure why its repeatedly happening. Have taken care in all possible oral hygiene ways, but the moment medicines are off the issues seems to occur again. Please advise.

I don’t think you have tonsillitis. Is it with fever? Do you have any allergy?

Hi..if you do have recurrent tonsillitis for over 20 yrs, it's advisable to undergo a tonsillectomy. That being said, it would be better to examine and determine what is happening before advising about a definitive treatment plan.
