I'm having a soar throat since the last few days and the sides of my tongue is also paining. Please suggest me any medications and remedies. Also suggest me precautionary measures too.

Side of tongue pain suggests that there could be aphthous ulcers causing the throat pain. Please visit an ENT Surgeon locally to examine you and help you out.
