Hi, I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat MS ENT.
Based on the image you’ve shared and the symptoms of throat pain, hoarseness of voice, and visible white patches on the tonsils, this presentation is suggestive of acute tonsillitis, likely of bacterial origin (possibly streptococcal). Voice changes and discomfort may also indicate associated laryngopharyngeal involvement.
Next Steps
I recommend starting a course of antibiotics, warm saline gargles 3–4 times daily, adequate hydration, and voice rest.
A throat swab for culture and sensitivity may be advised for confirmation.
Health Tips
If symptoms worsen or persist beyond 3–5 days, please consult nearest ENT specialist for further evaluation and to rule out peritonsillar abscess or chronic tonsillitis.
