From the information provided what I could gather was that you have pain in posterior aspect of thigh and have developed weakness of your foot and ankle.
These seem to be signs of a compression of a nerve by a prolapsed intervertebral disc. You need thorough examination by a specialist doctor ( spine surgeon) . MRI needs to be done .
Need to visit a doctor urgently for this otherwise the weakness might persist for life.
Also you have not mentioned whether it is single side or on both feet. If involves both feet/ you have difficulty in passing urine then this is an emergency condition.
